I graduated from Calvin College where I received endorsements in Elementary Education, Spanish, and Language Arts. I also majored in English Writing, and I love being a well-read teacher who encourages her students to love the written word. My journey with Immersion began when I was 16 and started working in a friend’s fourth grade immersion class! From there, I spent semesters teaching and studying Spanish in both Guatemala and Honduras. This is my second(ish) year at Ada Vista. I have taught Third grade summer school at North Godwin Elementary, and worked in an English as a Second Language program in China. When I am not teaching, I love backpacking and being out of doors, reading, writing, traveling, and trying new things!
